Marketing Specialist

1. Manage company website. (20%)

Manage and update company websites with moderate HTML and CSS coding for new product schedule

Utilizes NetSuite and AmeriCommerce / SparkPay platform in daily job operations.

Audit websites of Wholesale Interiors, Inc. to ensure the inventory accuracy, product prices and website page layout.

Renew images for existing products to attract the attention of customers.

Update promotions information on the websites, such as discount, item of the week, clearance and etc.

2. Plan all year round promotions and coordinate marketing calendar. (30%)

Plan and design holiday promotions based on major US holidays. Schedule at least one major seasonal promotion per month, such as New Year promotion, Valentine’s Day promotion, President’s Day Promotion, Easter Promotion, Memorial Day promotion and etc.

Manage, improve and apply different promotion programs to attract customers. Different promotions programs include loyalty programs, gift with purchase, coupons and etc.

Control marketing campaigns to advertise and introduce upcoming promotions to ensure the effectiveness of the promotions.

Perform VLOOKUP and MACROS to update product catalog and spec sheet with the latest batch with pricing and specification to be presented for prospective clients.

3. Analyze product trends forecasting (15%)

Visit competitor’s website to investigate popular selling items and new products on monthly basis. Compare current products of Wholesale Interiors, Inc. to competitors’ products to find the differences.

Research on furniture market trend by reading articles, blogs and magazines.

Plan Las Vegas furniture trade show twice a year. During the trade show, meet with customers to gather furniture industry information from key customers such as Amazon, Walmart, Overstock, Sears and etc.

Generate reports by using all products trending information collected from above activities to forecast upcoming seasonal products trend on monthly basis. Present reports to the management team on monthly basis.

4. Determine the best price point for current product selections and new product selections. (15%)

Closely observe the economy fluctuation to ensure product pricing levels meeting customers’ expectation.

Determine prices of new products by calculating the cost of goods sold and overall landed cost. Landed cost calculation is based on cubic meters of product and most recent ocean shipping price.

5. Improve and manage company branding. (20%)

Search and collect local billboard information. When local billboard is available, contact with billboard owner to negotiate billboard expense. Design billboard display information.

Manage Google AdWords operations within monthly budget. Select keywords to be advertised to attract customers to company’s retail store and websites.
